Gisborne to Global
Following twenty-five years of industry experience, John Birkett founded Metlam at Gisborne near Melbourne [Australia] in 1993. Whilst initially focussing on commercial toilet partition hardware, Metlam quickly expanded its product range in response to continued customer demand for improved design and quality products.

Metlam also provides product design, manufacturing and distribution to customers throughout Australia, New Zealand, Asia, United Kingdom and Europe.

Built on Quality Products, Service & Innovation
The best testament to Metlam’s quality and service comes from major architectural firms as they consistently specify Metlam products for their commercial designs.

All products are manufactured from the highest-grade materials and where applicable, meet or exceed any relevant Building Code or Standard in the markets they are sold into.

While toilet and shower partition hardware remains a Metlam staple, the product range now includes a full and comprehensive range of commercial washroom accessories and electric hand-dryers.

The Metlam evolution has also led to the development of commercial and architectural hardware. This range includes: premium quality back to back entrance handles, panic bolts, barrel bolts, flush bolts, hinges and door stops etc..

This range of product is now also being marketed via select mass retail and trade distribution channels such as hardware and plumbing groups. Metlam is proud of its best-practise record for Delivery In Full On Time (D.I.F.O.T.). All Metlam products are covered by specific product guarantees.
